KDYS Education and Training

The KDYS is committed to proving a rage of education and training options to young people across the diocese of Kerry. The KDYS have a range of full time educational and training programmes based in our youth centres as well as working with schools and communities to provide training and education around the areas of health, youth leadership and volunteer training to name a few.

KDYS Educational Programmes

The KDYS operates 4 YouthReach programmes in partnership with the Kerry Education and Training Board.

YouthReach is a Department of Education and Skills official education, training and work experience programme for early school leavers aged 15 – 20. It offers young people the opportunity to identify options within adult life, and provides them with opportunities to acquire certification. As it operates on a full-time, year-round basis, Youthreach has a continuous intake policy.
